The Milk Market in Limerick city dates back to 1852 and has continued to serve the people of Limerick since.

I moved to Limerick City in June 2021 and every Saturday morning myself and Ross would head down to the market to grab a coffee and pastry. The the walled market offers vegetables, fish, jams, sweet treats, drinks, vegan dishes and taste the local eateries. This vibrant market also offers local crafts, music and traditional calendar events.

On the morning of filming myself and Ali met at 6:30am to catch the large gates being opened and to chat with traders as they set up. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again why buy from the giants when you can support local communities and preserve local tradition. Vote with your wallet folks!
